More than just a pool - Life Fitness & Blackpool Council transform the Moor Park Pool Fitness Facili

An exciting new fitness suite at Moor Park Pool in Blackpool has been developed and installed by Life Fitness, global leader in fitness equipment, in partnership with Blackpool Council. The site, which is holding an open weekend on 2nd and 3rd July, was previously a pool only facility. This has now been expanded into a landmark health and lifestyle complex with an on site doctors surgery, pharmacy, physiotherapy centre and fitness suite, and is set to be an integral lifestyle hub for the local community.

The multi-purpose, fitness facility will cater for both patients and the general local community. These key factors were carefully considered by Life Fitness when designing the bespoke gymnasium floor plan and selected the best equipment that would provide total fitness for all. Over 50 pieces of premium Life Fitness equipment have been installed including the innovative Life Fitness Elevation Engage cardiovascular series, Signature Series Cable Motion, benches and racks plus the IFI accredited offering, all chosen to enhance maximum usage at the facility for every member. Furthermore, Life Fitness complemented the strategic equipment choice with the installation of the FitLinxx Attention Level Indicator system. This tool helps to enhance staff-to-member connections by colour coding and identifying different user experience levels, highlighting both interaction and motivation levels.
